Hi I am Heidi and here is my story. Last spring, while studying for finals, I was in search of a companion because I was about to lose my German Shepard of 15 years. I had worked with the Rottweiler breed and thoroughly enjoyed their companionship and ability to work. I finally found a breeder and chose the only female left. As I was driving back I started thinking about..will this 8 week old puppy fit into my lifestyle, will she like the cows and horses I work with on a daily basis, and will she be at my feet while I am doing homework. Roxy is just about a year old now and she has fit into my lifestyle perfectly. She is there to wake me up 5 days a week at 3:30AM to go to the barn and the other 2 days she is right in the car making the 2 hour commute to school keeping me awake while driving. When we are working the cows, she picks up very quickly on what I am asking of her and she has even used her own instincts to get in between a cow trying to charge at me. Roxy gives me a sense of security,companionship, and she is always ready and willing to go on our next adventure. All things happen for a reason and I do not know what I would do without out her!
