My boyfriend Jeremy and I met in April of 2009, and decided to spend the rest of our lives together shortly thereafter. We both absolutely love animals. 2 months into our relationship, we adopted our dog Rontu through a local rescue organization. I had seen Rontu on the MAS website and had a dream that he was ours that evening while asleep. He was 6 months old when he came to live in our home a few weeks later. Rontu has taught us more about love than we already knew combined. He is one of the friendliest, most good-natured creatures we have ever had the honor of knowing. Rontu acts as the dog park Goodwill Ambassador whenever we take him; greeting each new dog; in addition to walking them to the gate for a goodbye. Rontu tries to respect our space, and willingly sleeps in his crate with the door open while we are asleep in our bed. He listens and is willing to learn from us. Rontu has helped us both learn a new degree of patience that we feel will further prepare us for having children. We are so grateful to have him in our lives every single day, and cannot imagine a day going by without him.
