My husband and I had some particularly hard times a few years ago in which we lost my father, my mother, our 26 yr old horse, our ferret, two cats and both our beloved dogs..all due to cancer or old age Then went my job, my best friend (of cancer) and then my husband got cancer himself. It was almost too much to take and seemed like the sadness would never end. We thought we'd never have joy in our lives again. Then there she was. A 5 month old Chihuahua wondering on the highway, out in the middle of nowhere, lost, skinny, afraid, blistered paws from the hot pavement. No tags, no collar, no chip. Nothing. My heart was hers the second I picked her up held her in my arms. We've never looked back since. Because of her we now have 2 more Chihuahuas. All 3 are the loves of our life. Because of them we started our business www.punypaws.com. Organic dog treats & boutique. The 3 Chi's have opened a whole new world of joy & hope for us. Because of them we feel we can survive anything now!
