Moving away from home and starting your life on your own is usually an exciting step in life. But when you're moving away from home filled with people and dogs it can be lonely. I managed to make it two weeks in my new apartment before I just had to get a dog. Every dog I have ever had in my life as taught me something but each one manages to some how teach us something different. Dolly filled a huge hole in my heart. She is a constant and true companion. Her unconditional love always amazes me. After a stressful day at work or just missing my family, she can lick my nose and all of the bad things seem to melt away. I know, after meeting Dolly, that I simply could not ever live without a furry friend.
