Miss Lexi came into our lives as a puppy in training to be a service dog. That was the plan the humans had for her anyway. Lexi had other ideas. She helped teach us patience and opened us up to the world of service dogs. She was very good at learning behaviors, she just wasn't as good at performing them in public. Being in public was just too scary for Lex. She is however, an amazingly devoted companion. I'm used to dogs showing their ability to love unconditionally. Lexi, however, looking up at us with her beautiful eyes, brings out OUR ability to love unconditionally. She is always by my side and inspires me to give back and for that I will love her forever.
