Throughout my life, I have always heard the corny saying "there's nothing like the bond between a boy and his dog" and I always knew it was true, but I never quite understood how true it is. When I was a strapping young lad of just seven years, I first met my new best friend, Susquehanna Service Dog Wyatt. Wyatt was a jumpy, excited, and anxious little guy, much like myself, so we quickly formed a bond that I will never forget. Wyatt is a special dog, even for service dogs standards, and had a gift from early in his life to assist in the grieving process. He loves his job, and truly cares about every single person he ever met, and still does. Wyatt has changed so many lives, it is impossible to begin to describe how he improved the lives of every person he ever worked with. He is always there for me, and always will be.
